Are you flying through your studies and looking for an extra challenge? Would you like to go deeper into subjects you don't have the room for within your studies? Then the Honours Impact Programme is for you!

During the Honours Impact Programme (HIP), you will explore current themes together with students who, like you, want to go the extra mile. You are given the opportunity to define your own goals and criteria to be achieved, so you are in control, but not alone. It also creates an engaged community of like-minded Honours students. Furthermore, HIP consists of 2 phases of 6 months each.

Content
Phase 1 focuses on your personal purpose statement and on a theme that suits you. You learn by exploring and experiencing. This happens individually, together as a community and by working together with the Centres of Expertise within Avans. Attention is paid to self-insight and your connection with the world: how do you want to be meaningful and what do you want to contribute to?

In phase 2, you will make an impact outside the walls of Avans. You will deepen your chosen topic, sharpen your impact plan and then put it into practice yourself.

Throughout the programme, you will be guided by professional coaches and experts from inside and outside Avans.

Practical 
The Honours Impact Programme lasts one year, consisting of 2 phases of 6 months each. Phase 1 starts in October 2025. You follow the programme alongside your degree programme. The average time investment is 4 to 8 hours per week. Once every fortnight, we meet physically with all Honours students (alternating locations Breda and Den Bosch). This is on Wednesdays from 16.30 to 20.30 (including dinner).  

Important: We are recruiting in both Dutch and English. The English group will only be formed if there are enough international applicants.
